Nebraska Groundwater Wells

Nebraska draws the most groundwater of any state in the country. Originally developed here, the center pivot is the iconic image of groundwater use. The deepest portion of the vast Ogallala Aquifer is below the Nebraska Sandhills, providing water for large scale ranching operations.
